Manufactured with thick tubular plate, they offer 1200 charge and discharge cycles , compared to the 700 cycles offered by the Trojan brand , with TAB Motion currently being the ones with the highest performance in terms of useful life in this type of batteries.

About TAB?

TAB was established in 1965 as a subsidiary of Rudnik Mežica Holding (Lead Mine Mežica Holding) in a region where different lead activities are more than 350 years old.

For the first 15 years, TAB was a license partner of Tudor, Sweden. Today, TAB produces a wide range of VRLA AGM and VRLA flooded lead acid gel batteries in three modern factories with approximately 1,500 employees in three different locations:

• At the first location in Žerjav, Slovenia, there is a recycling plant that produces more than 33,000 t of soft lead and alloys per year from 60,000 t of scrap and an industrial battery factory with an annual capacity of 1.8 million TAB brand traction and stationary cell parts,

• The second location is in Črna na Koroškem, Slovenia, where there is a factory of starter batteries of the TAB, Topla, Vesna and VolThor brands with an annual capacity of 3.3 million pieces,

• The third factory is located in the Republic of North Macedonia, Probishtip, with an annual capacity of 3 million pieces of Vesna brand starter batteries, industrial batteries with an annual capacity of 0.4 million pieces of traction cells of the TAB brand and a recycling plant that produces approx. 10,000 t of soft lead and alloys per year from 18,000 t of scrap.

TAB also produces various types of batteries for the military, air and naval sectors.
