The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger is a professional 3-stage adaptive charger with integrated Bluetooth. It is designed for dual battery systems in vehicles or boats, where the alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. It is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries.
Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger
The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger is a 3-stage adaptive device with integrated Bluetooth , allowing monitoring, configuration and updating via any Bluetooth enabled device. It is fully programmable, with a configurable charging algorithm or a fixed output, and is compatible with smart alternators through engine running detection.
3-Stage Adaptive Charging Algorithm
Includes mass loading, absorption and flotation. For lead-acid batteries , the absorption time varies depending on the depth of discharge to prevent overcharging. For lithium batteries , the absorption time is fixed (2 hours). It is also possible to select a fixed output voltage.

- Remote On/Off: A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to a two-pole connector.
- Short circuit and high temperature protection: The output current will be reduced at high ambient temperatures.
- Parallel connection capability: An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel to increase output current.
- IP43 Protection: When installed with the screw terminals facing downwards.
- Screw Terminals: No special tools required for installation.
